Last night I visited one of those free dating sites, Basecandy.com and started chatting with a girl that lived about 3 miles away. She mentioned that she put an ad in the local personals but received no replies. I wondered what was wrong with her. If the picture on her profile is real she sould have gotten many replies. She was on eHarmony before joining this site. Many singles change from the paying sites to the free sites when money becomes an issue.

Later in the conversation she mentioned how she just came out of a 2 year relationship with a guy she was engaged to married.
